PROJECTS

Through projects BYM aims to employ the bright minds and passionate hearts of young people to effect sustainable change in society. The projects will not only draw on the ideas and energy of the summit delegates but also on the alumni base and other willing and able volunteers.

The BYM executive will initiate projects, review external project ideas and support ideas originated at the summit. Between the BYM executive, directors and alumni there is a considerable amount of experience in executing high-impact projects successfully. BYM has also established relationship with several respected organisations that will serve as project partners in various capacities.

The criteria for BYM projects are:

• Must have a positive social impact
• Must be scalable
• Must be sustainable
• Should employ the hearts and minds of BYM volunteers
• BYM gets involved in the design and development of the project
